Introducing the Canadian designed and patented Shutgun.  A simple to use, highly effective “must have” tool that every commercial property/maintenance manager & fire department needs in their tool box.  Designed to quickly shut off individual sprinkler heads minimizing water damage.

The Shutgun was the brainchild of a retired district fire chief.  He had seen the damage caused by sprinkler systems going off accidentally or in response to a real fire.  With 20 to 30 gallons of water per minute pouring

Just slip it into the existing sprinkler head (even recessed ones) and squeeze.  The single hand use design makes it fast, easy and safe to use even from a ladder.  What happens if the fire rekindles?  No worries, the Shutgun includes a fusible link that releases when it feels heat and the gun falls out, allowing the sprinkler to re-activate.  With the Shutgun in place you can leave the sprinkler system on until the system is drained and the sprinkler head replaced and you can be assured that your building is still protected.
