Designed to float near the water’s surface, the Kochek Camlock Female Floating Strainer helps filter debris and maintain efficient water flow for firefighting pump and suction applications.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Kochek Self-leveling Floating Strainer is a full-time swiveling strainer with a self-leveling float. This feature ensures the unit is always upright and ready to draft. The Vortex Shield protects against whirlpooling allowing for superior flow rates. Available with a wide variety of connection types to suit most rural firefighting applications.
Foot Valve Option:
- 3” and smaller sizes – spring-loaded “poppet” type.
- 3.5” and larger sizes – rubber flapper type.
