The Kochek Shallow Water Strainer (Tear Drop Style) helps filter debris from shallow water sources, supporting consistent water flow and protecting pumps during firefighting and water intake operations.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
Kochek‘s Teardrop Style Shallow Water Strainer is capable of drafting as low as 6-8 inches above the top plate. This provides a convenient solution for specialized dry hydrant installations in fast-moving stream beds. The swifter the water, the shallower our product can draft effectively.
This product is fabricated from aluminum alloy but connects directly to a standard 6″ SCH40 PVC coupler or elbow.
