With innovative jet siphon technology, the Schutte & Koerting 2 1/2″ TurboDraft Unit enables firefighters to draw water from distant or low-access sources, ensuring a reliable supply in challenging environments.
PRODUCT DESCRIPTION
The Schutte & Koerting 2 ½” TurboDraft Fire Eductor allows fire companies to tap into water supplies like ponds, streams, and swimming pools up to 250 ft away and can generate flows up to 264 GPM.
If your rural fire department needs creative solutions for utilizing water sources that are not accessible using typical drafting techniques, the 2 ½” TurboDraft™ could be the solution.
Usable fire flow volumes will vary based on hose friction loss and elevation. Increased usable flow rates can be achieved, depending on hose friction loss coefficients or when using 6” diameter hose. Field testing is advised to confirm actual flow rates for specific hose configurations. See the technical data table for baseline values (below).
